About Dr. Felix
Dr. Felix Arndt advises WorkOptional.ai, bringing an international career in academic leadership and entrepreneurship research. He holds the John F. Wood Chair in Entrepreneurship at the University of Guelph and will become Head of the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Waterloo in July. His experience across Asia, Europe, and North America informs his guidance on research collaborations, executive education programs, and AI investments.
He previously served as Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham Ningbo in China, developing entrepreneurship programs, and as Adjunct Professor at the SP Jain School of Global Management, teaching across campuses in Singapore, Dubai, Mumbai, and Sydney. His global influence extends to visiting roles at the Wharton School, Stockholm School of Economics, and institutions in Germany and Australia. His research appears in top journals and focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability.
His upcoming leadership at the University of Waterloo's Conrad School places him at Canada's premier entrepreneurial program within an institution ranked #1 for entrepreneurship and innovation. The University houses the Waterloo.ai institute and significant mathematical and computer science talent, creating opportunities for WorkOptional.ai.
