Refund Policy

Two products, two policies. The summary tables come first. The fine print follows.

Books · The #10Cs series

Applies to direct purchases of "Ten Commandments of Investing" and "Ten Commandments of Investing in the Age of AI" through workoptional.ai, including pre-orders and autographed copies.

• eBook ($8.88). Refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have read less than 25% of the file. Email team@workoptional.ai with the order ID. Refund issued to original payment method within 10 business days.
• Audiobook ($8.88). Refundable within 14 days if streamed for less than 60 minutes total. Same process.
• Paperback ($38). Refundable within 30 days of delivery if the book is in resalable condition. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. We refund the book price once it arrives at our fulfillment center; original shipping is non-refundable.
• Autographed copy. Once signed and shipped, autographed copies are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged. If damaged, send a photo within 7 days of delivery and we will replace at no cost.
• Pre-orders for Book 2 (Q4 2026). Fully refundable until the official ship date. After shipment, the format-specific rules above apply.
• Atlas of AI Markets appendix. The early-reserver bonus is non-refundable separately. If the underlying book purchase is refunded, access to the appendix is revoked.
• Third-party retailers. Books bought from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other retailers follow that retailer's refund policy, not ours.

Masterclass Bangkok · November 11-13, 2026

Applies to all sponsor tiers (Diamond $50K, Gold $25K, Silver $10K) and to any individual attendee tickets sold for Masterclass Bangkok 2026.

• Up to August 31, 2026. 90% refund. The 10% deduction covers irrevocable venue, catering, and faculty commitments already booked on your behalf.
• September 1 - October 11, 2026 (more than 30 days before the event). 50% refund.
• October 12 - November 10, 2026 (30 days or fewer before the event). No cash refund. We will issue a credit for 100% of the amount paid, transferable to Masterclass 2027 or convertible to a 12-month WO Capital introduction package of equivalent value.
• From November 11, 2026 onward. No refund and no credit, including for no-shows.
• Substitutions. You may substitute another qualified attendee from your firm at any time up to 48 hours before the event at no charge. Substitutes are subject to the same accreditation and AUM checks as the original registrant.
• VIP Welcome Dinner (November 10). Tied to the main registration. Refunded or credited under the same schedule.
• Travel and accommodation. Not included in the ticket. Not refundable by us under any circumstances.
• If WorkOptional cancels. Full refund of fees paid, or full credit toward a future Masterclass event, at your choice. We are not liable for your travel or accommodation expenses; carry trip insurance.
• Force majeure. If the event is postponed because of pandemic, war, natural disaster, government restriction, or another event outside our control, fees convert to credit for the rescheduled date. Cash refund only if the event is cancelled outright and no rescheduled date is offered within 12 months.

How to request a refund

Email team@workoptional.ai from the address used at purchase. Include the order ID or registration reference and the reason. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card network before contacting us, we reserve the right to revoke access to the related product and to decline future orders. Please email us first.
